Because Bank of Jackson Hole knows its customers well and treats them personally, we are able to provide outstanding oversight of our financial and loan portfolios, consistently outperform other area banks, and rank highly nationally for our capital earnings. Local control and local decision making make for secure, sound banking practices.

Capital is Strong
A bank's capital (money invested in the bank by shareholders and earnings retained by the bank to support bank growth) is a customer's best safety net. The measurements of a bank's capital in relationship to the size of the bank are called capital ratios. Bank of Jackson Hole has among the best capital ratios of any bank that operates in Teton County. This means that relative to our size, our bank has a greater amount of our stockholders' investment and our retained earnings available to provide a margin of safety to our customers than any other bank operating in the county.
