BANK HISTORY
The Bank of Jackson Hole is a progressively locally owned and locally managed independent
bank headquartered in Jackson, Wyoming. Unlike any other financial institution in
the area, we serve only the communities in and around the Jackson Hole valley. With
local ownership and management, our customers are dealing with the decision makers - not
the order takers.
We began providing friendly and convenient banking services to the community in 1985, and
have grown to over $275 million in assets because of our commitment to offer the best
deposit and lending products in the area. In an era of mega-banks and mergers, the
success and response to our brand of local community banking is obvious. During the
1990's, we have had the highest percentage growth in deposits of any Wyoming bank.
We invest those deposits right back into the community, and have more loans outstanding as
a percent of our deposits than any other Wyoming bank.
With a national reputation for financial strength as one of the "Highest Rated Banks
in America" by the independent Sheshunoff Information Services, Inc., and a local
reputation for innovative and responsive service, we will continue the practices which
have made us the area leader in community banking.
